A background to Aspö’s wildlife is given on this page. After a general presentation of the island, information is given about its cultural history, especially the World heritage status. Next, there is an overview of the scenery, followed by a description of some flowers and trees that form the island’s rich insect life. Finally, the animals are outlined that I have photographed on Aspö and display on this website.
