In spring, the Wood anemone (Photo 28) is the dominating flower, and there is still plenty of the Common hepatica in March/April (Photo 29). In May, pancies are common, especially the Wild pansy (Photo 30), and in June the Blue bonnet (Photo 31). In July, hawkbits (Photo 32) and bluebells (Photo 33) become common and last the whole summer until October.

At the end of August, the Orpine or Livelong (Photo 34) is a major source of nectar for late bumblebees like the male Buff-tailed bumblebee and hoverflies, mainly drone flies. Images of many more types of flowers found on Aspö can be seen on the pages of different types of insects. The flowering of trees also contributes to the rich insect life portrayed on these pages (Photos 35-36). In the autumn the many colours of the leaves beautify Aspö (Photois 37-38) together with long lasting garden flowers such as the Garden cosmos (Photo 39).
